Marriage proposals come in different forms and fashions. Grand or Petite, With or Without spectators, Simplistic or Exotic location. I love small and classy, always have, and always will. That's why my proposal preferences can easily be guessed

I visited Paris in 2015 with a friend and one of her to-dos’ was a glimpse of the city from the top of the Eiffel Tower at night. We were on a queue for almost three hours and whilst there we made friends with other gleeful tourists and bantered lightly as we meandered to the escalator. When our turn came, our sighs of relief were real, deep and loud

Immediately we arrived the top, we started walking around and uhhhing and ahhing at the tres gorgeous view from the top. This was when we saw someone kneeling under the moonlight, arms outstretched and proposing to the love of his life – allow me be a romantic please -. After she said yes, there was clapping and cheering amidst several shouts of congratulations. It was beautiful.

It also got me thinking about the movie “Non-Transferable”, and a memorable scene where the lady fantasised about her destination proposal; in front of an ancient water fountain – Antonine Fountains - in Turkey. How does a girl get her partner to magically know her dream proposal destination? HMMMMM....Anyway I digress. There are so many exotic places in the world and a lot can be used as destination proposal locations

So Travel Lover, whether you're still single or thinking of doing a proposal remake on your wedding anniversary. Do you want a grand or petite proposal?
