Hey Travel Lover
If you were told you could see the world in thirty minutes what would your reaction be? Happy? Sad? Indifferent? That is the option we get when we tour a city via a Ferris wheel, we see most of the city from a great height in all its beauty for approximately thirty minutes.
I like Ferris wheels because they move leisurely and you get to see sights 360 degrees while enjoying the view. You also might not be aware of the great height unless you look out. Furthermore, I like how roomy and comfortable it is inside.
I have actually been on two Ferris wheels, the High Roller in Las Vegas (what happens in vegas…) and the Singapore Flyer in Singapore. Both visits I went during the day. I need to take a hint from the previous post “day & night” and visit them at night - hopefully my next trip – so I can experience the colors and lights of the sights from the top.
I particularly enjoyed seeing the city and some of the famous attractions from such a height. In Las Vegas, it was more of seeing the beautiful hotels like Bellagio, Venetian and Wynn on the strip. While in Singapore, it was seeing Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Gardens by the Bay and the National Stadium.
The next Ferris wheel on my list is the London Eye. For some reason, I have never been on “the eye”. I definitely would my next trip to London and you can guess, I will visit at night. Was actually planning a trip last year before “Covid-19” struck. Just want to point out that it isn’t however a free tourist activity.
So Travel Lover, would you like to see the world, pardon me, a city in thirty minutes? Are you a Ferris wheel fan? Have you been on the London Eye – Day or Night? Let us know in the comments section.
Till Next Week

I'm not a big fan of London. Unless my wife wants to go visit, she's more of a London person, I don't dream of going to see 'the eye' anytime soon. Singapore now that's a draw for me. Definitely something my family and I would love to do. Thank you for the tip.
Keep the lovely articles coming. I'm adding to my bucket list.
It’s great wrapping up seeing the whole city in 30 minutes but Ferries wheel or not I don’t like heights. If I have a back up I might try 😂🤣.
Thanks for educating us Ajalaress
