Hey Travel Lover
Happy New Year, Welcome to 2021!!!
Reflecting on my should-have-been travels for 2020, it should have been a loaded year, with me criss crossing Continents, sightseeing Cities and tasting new Cuisine. Now it has dawned on me, it was zilch, zero, zip, yet I am happy to be healthy and happy. Now I can plan for 2021 and hopefully execute the travel plans.
So where are my top three places for this year? I have shared three places I hope to visit this year when travel is safe. I will certainly share my pictures when I cross these off my bucket list.
First is Table Mountains in Cape Town. It is one of the top tourist attractions in South Africa. I’ve read of panoramic and iconic views from the top and cannot wait to experience same. There are two ways to the top, hiking or via cableway. I haven’t decided which I will use. Maybe the cableway, taking the lazy route. Or I could do one way of each… oh well, till I get there.
Second is Ali Barbour’s Cave Restaurant in Kenya. The restaurant is located in a cave believed to be 120,000 years old. The cuisine is international and one has to descend 33 feet to get to the dining area. I saw pictures from a friend’s visit and of course it made its way to my bucket list. I really cannot wait to visit and dine.
Last and definitely not least is the little village of white houses in Setenil de las Bodegas in Spain. The houses are built under a huge rock to avoid paying for a roof. It looks very picturesque and quaint. I have longed to visit Spain for so long and definitely look forward to the trip. I'm hoping Spain is as dreamy as it looks in pictures.
So Travel Lover, what are your travel plans if any for 2021? Can you share? Awaiting secret destinations in comments section
Till Next Week
Truly Yours
Ajalaress
Wow Ajalaress you are such an amazing person and so innovative. All of the places mentioned are all inviting but the one that captures my interest most is the White House in Spain. God willing I would like to visit it with you so as to enjoy all the hidden intrigues your talented mind would fish out.
Happy New Year 🎆🎈🎊
Great read.
Ceteris Paribus, I plan to tour some European Cities. Being a Certified Geographer you can only imagine my pain. Lol.
I hope the Covid situation improve too so I can freely connect, network and see the world for myself in a bit to authenticate all the geographic information at my disposal.
