Hey Travel Lover
Are you intrigued by snow? Are you, like me, yearning to build a snow man? Do you love the white frosty view after it snows?
I love snow, I love the snowflakes, I love how picturesque and “post cardy” everywhere looks when it snows. It has been a dream of mine to build a snow man but it’s like snow and I have been playing a game of peekaboo. Two instances come to mind to buttress this.
The first was in New York, I decided to have a white Christmas and believe it or not, while I was air borne, it snowed. I didn’t get to see the snow fall, just the evidence (snow) when I landed. All through my stay, it fell at night while I was asleep. On the day I was to depart New York, I took the picture below as a reminder of the cat and mouse game the snow and I had played throughout my vacation.
Then I decided to visit earlier the next year, maybe November will be the charmer, maybe, just maybe, November isn’t a month of the “snow peekaboo gameshow”. This time I went to Chicago, the windy city. For the first two days, I woke up to see snow, as usual, it fell while I was asleep. I took a picture from the window to capture the missed moment.
Then one beautiful morning, after heading into town to get breakfast, the elusive snow decided to make a grand appearance. It was a wee appearance but so appreciated. I twirled and turned and raised my hands in appreciation. I studied a snow flake and realized it indeed had the beautiful shape depicted in pictures.
So Travel Lover, I haven’t built a snow man yet, I haven’t experienced snow as I want, I haven’t ticked snow off my bucket list but I’m optimistic 2021 might be it.
I would love to hear your snow, snowflakes and snowman stories in the comments session.
Till Next Week
Forever Yours

I have seen snow fall like rain actually......just follow me to Moscow....😁
I experienced snow once in Berlin 2009 but not enough to build a snowman. Maybe Canada or Russia are the ideal countries that won't play snow peekaboo, lol
