You have sold Rwanda, looks an amazing holiday destination.
I travelled with the family during covid on holiday. It was a Uk holiday and we drove. We avoided flights and crowded areas. It was a cottage lodge compared to a hotel. Lots of safety restrictions in place especially in the dining area. They could only allow certain number of people at a time in the restaurant.
We did lots of outdoor activities and visited friends locally . It was quite a toned down holiday from our usual. I guess we were glad we were able to leave the house after almost 2 years of lockdown.
I am uncertain if I would want to venture on a cruise holidays post covid. I am a lover of holiday cruises (been on only 2though 😁). Having read about the covid outbreak on a cruise ship and the harrowing experience of passengers who were quarantined in their cabins and the ill-fate of passengers who were ill with minimal medical care. Even close by ports refused to offer refuge as covid was novel and I guess everyone was super scared.
Wow Wow Wow ...... Maureen, your first trip post Covid seems fun and definitely toned down as you mentioned. I trust you have done some not toned down holiday. A boat cruise is on my bucket list, really wish I crossed it off before Covid. Oh well, it is what it is...Thanks for sharing, it was an interesting read :)

It was a breakfast for Champions, seems like we knew the day had so much in store....It was a fun trip.

I am still yet to travel post covid. Who knows when the next trip will be for me.
